Following the Path
I’ve been longing for the freedom I once knew as a child
My Lord is guiding me to do His will, and I’m struggling away from pain
He has taken away my once soul mate and given me sadness as a
learning experience
In my labor, shoes and all (that I’ve been through), I’ve been witnessing many fates
I’ve been a long time being an island, yet I stand not alone. For His
light bears two shadows
Here I be like an open book, and when there’s nothing more to say, it
would be a shame to overlook the pages.
Now, I’m here for you to witness my life as your friend in God.
